Continuing the Ministry of Jesus
When we accept the invitation to follow Jesus, we also accept His ministry. The Second Vatican Council clearly teaches that the laity have ministry in their own right. At Star of the Valley, we attempt to carry out that ministry in many ways. Parishioners serve at the altar, assist the ill, the bereaved and the poor, and they help with parish administration, finances, pastoral planning, and maintenance of facilities. They provide leadership and support for all types of parish activities.

They help facilitate and host monthly Bingo Dinners and Donut Sundays that benefit the parish and wider community.
